Original era manufacture. A great old swod likely dating to the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Very curved, 31 inch polished steel blade in original finish with no issues beyond some light spotting and staining from age and wear. The blade runs straight and true with a sharp point and no nicks in it's cutting edge. Simple brass guard and pommel with a langet on each side. Leather wrapped wooden grip without brass wire binding. Sound black leather scabbard body with both of it's suspension rings intact, missing the brass chape. Interesting in that the throat piece is fitted with a stud for wear with a belt frog.
