Original era manufacture. This does not appear to be a tourist made piece, good temper to the blade with a sharp tip and a nice balanced feel to it. The steel blade measures 32 inches in length, with a T back spine tapering down to a fine point. Steel basket guard with scattered light surface corrosion. Steel backstrap and pommel with a fishskin wrapped grooved grip, no wire binding, may never have had any. Sound, normal age and wear.
