Original era manufacture. A late 19th century European dagger with a6 inch polished steel blade, very similar in design to a German WWI era fighting knife.Lots of cross grain polish remains on the blade surface, with light, scattered age staining. Overall measurement is 10.75 inches in length.Simple S-shaped steel guard, with a nickel ferrule and pommel cap, oval shaped dark wood grip. No scabbard.
