Original era manufacture. A rather delicate personal dagger, with gilt floral decoration on both sides of the blade and ricasso. The diamond shapedblade measures 6 inches in length, the point is blunted, with old cleaned surface corrosion along its length. Overall measurement is 11.5 inches.Decorative iron guard with a turned wood grip with a knurled decoration on each side of the pommel.Black leather bodied sheath with two suspension rings on the upper band, nickel chape. When inserted into the sheath the decorative ricasso of the blade is exposed. Perhaps this was the original intent, or the sheath is missing it's throat piece.
