Original period manufacture. Single shot, percussion ignition smooth bore pistol with a 12 mm bore diameter. Overall length is 16 inches with a 10.5 inch barrel, simple rear sight, no front sight. Highly polished lock plate, trigger guard and hammer. The hammer holds at full cock, but not in the half cock position and falls when the trigger is pulled. The nipple is not mashed up, with little corrosion around the firing area. Carved wooden stock with an ornate butt with a very decorative steel butt cap. The pistol is very clean showing very light wear, no visible markings **Please know your local and state laws regarding the purchase of antique firearms.
