Original period manufacture. European, single shot, smooth bore percussion pistol with a 12mm bore. Overall length is 12 inches with a 7.25 inch barrel. Goose neck hammer which holds on half cock, hammer falls when the trigger is pulled, the top of the nipple is pretty well mashed up. Checkering to the wooden butt, with a German silver rectangle set into the stock just behind the barrel tang. No visible markings that I could see. A couple of my Pards who do Living History with me at Fort Verde stated that it would make a great Gold Rush era side arm. **Please know your local and state laws regarding the purchase of antique firearms. In spite of it's 160 year plus age, you may not be able to own it in your locale". US SALES ONLY.
