French 1833 Pattern Navy Boarding Cutlass

Original era manufacture. A sound example with a clean blade and sharp point. The spine shows it was produced at the Royal Arsenal at Chatellerault but the date is faint. Faint fouled anchor emblems on each side of the ricasso. Black painted steel guard and grip with a small brass plate on the quillon displaying a rack number. Basically sound original leather and brass scabbard. There is a cut in the body but the scabbard is not broken.
