A first class rendition of a French 1st Empire enlisted Guard Grenadier Bearskin. Made of real fur (not bear) and leather, with the appropriate cording, brass frontal plate and cock feather plume. Size is about 59. Looking on the net I found similar quality examples being offered in the 700 Euro range. With original examples living in the land of Unobtainium, and when located, are either restored beyond all recognition, or priced at level beyond we mere mortals. From a local collection.
