Original era manufacture. A beautiful quality Infantry officers sword made by the Imperial Arsenal of Chatellerault. The triple fuller, polished steel blade measures 34 inches in length, with clear markings near the base of the blade. The thin leather bumper is in place, highly decorative gilded brass guard, with a black leather wrapped grip, bound with single strand twisted wire. Polished steel scabbard with two suspension rings. A very clean, and well made sword.
