Original era manufacture. An unusual bayonet in that there seems to be no consensus of opinion as what nation used these.Polished steel blade measuring 11.5 inches in length, with a 16 mm muzzle opening on the guard. Maker marked Guinard Paris on the reverse ricasso.Even steel patina finish overall with no issues. Original finish wooden grips showing wear and use, with the initials BP carved into one side.Dent-free blue steel finished scabbard in very sound condition.Unusual bayonet.
