Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool coatee with red wool cuffs and piping. Removable blue wool plastron. Gold lace on collar and cuffs. Brass buttons with crossed cannons and bursting bomb motif. While all of the buttons match in design, many have been replaced over the years. Heavy white cotton lining with the sleeve lining handstitched in place. The body of the coatee shows considerable moth damage, most located on the right sleeve and cuff, with additional mothing on the front of the plastron. Old costume house property mark stamped into the lining.
