Original era manufacture. Wonderfully ornate, all brass helmet with an original leather liner and leather backed brass scale chinstrap. There are some shallow dents in the helmet shell and the leather backing for the scale chinstrap has been replaced. A date of 1893 can be seen scratched into the underside of the visor. A great looking old helmet.
