Original era manufacture. Massive sword bayonet with a brass grip and steel guard. The yatagahn blade measures 22.5 inches in length with no issue marks on its spine.Both the blade and guard display a pleasing steel patina with no corrosion issues and just a few very small nicks in the edge. Lock button and spring work properly, overall showing typical age and wear.On the ricasso are the initials of the German manufacturer, PDL, and two crowned L proofs can be seen.
