Original period manufacture. Standard issue 1874 Gras bayonet with an 1880 blade date on the spine. The blade is clean but shows scattered spotting and staining as shown. Mismatch serial numbers blade to scabbard, sound wood grips showing typical age and brass patina to the pommel. Dark steel patina to the dent free scabbard.
