Original era manufacture. A very clean example with a brass pommel and sound wooden grips. T-shaped polished steel blade measuring 21 inches in length, brightsteel patina finish to the guard. Near dent-free blue steel finished scabbard with matching serial numbers guard to scabbard, 23344.Overall this bayonet represents one of the nicest examples of a Gras bayonet we have offered in a long time. Original finish throughout, with minor marring to the original finish wood grips, and original polish to the steel blade. Clear Navy proof on the guard. It would be difficult to find a better example....
