Original era manufacture. A very massive and quite handsome sabre bayonet made by the German firm of PDL. Yataghan shaped polished steel blade of 23 inches. Even steel patina finish, PDL marked on the ricasso with an additional partially obscured proof on the opposite side. Heavy steel guard showing a few shall dents on its forward edge, sound brass grip with working lock button. Very clean blue steel scabbard with no denting.
