Original period manufacture. Stampedbrass shako plate with a gilt finish and a cut-out regiment number below the eagle's claws. Attaching screwpost on the reverse of the eagle is intact, missing the attaching nut however. Measures 4.5x4.5 inches, 115x115mm.
