Original era manufacture. Original dark horizon blue paint finish to the surface, with scattered scratching and light denting to its surface, in general, normal service use and age. .All of the leather liner remain, the corrugated aluminum strips on each side are intact, no chinstrap. The Engineer (Genie) plate on the front of the helmet matches in color the exterior of the helmet, and I feel has been on this helmet since 1918.
