Original period manufacture. Classic French Infantry helmet of the Great War, introduced in 1915. Matt finish, hand applied, dark Horizon Blue paint, with the Infantry bursting bomb emblem at front. Minor shallow surface denting to the crown. Intactblack leather liner, with its adjusting string intact, corrugated aluminum spacers between the liner and interior sides of the crown. Original brown leather chinstrap is unbroken, with its adjusting buckle intact.
