Original era manufacture. A very sound example of the classic French steel helmet of WWI.Infantry plate on the front with a postwar applied brass visor decoration honoring the veterans service during the war 1914-1918. The helmet shell retains aroun 90% of it's original finish with period inkstamps inside, no liner or chinstrap. Named on the visor to Di Carol, late of the 24th Regiment of the Line. A very clean example.
