Original period manufacture. Classic French Infantry helmet of the Great War 1914 - 1918.Matt finish, dark Horizon Blue paint, with the Infantry bursting bomb emblem at front. Very minor, and shallow surface denting to the crown. Emblem finish matches the remainder of the helmet.Fairly intact original liner of multi-piece construction, with aluminum spaces on four sides. Portions of the original chinstrap remain.
