Original era manufacture. A fairly complete example of a scarce WWI French Adrian pattern helmet displaying the emblemfor Colonial Infantry units on its front. The helmet displays a very dark brown, almost black, surface finish, matching on both the helmet shell and emblem. Original liner but no chinstrap. The helmet shows considerable wear and use with scattered shallow denting to the crown and a bend in the front visor. It still displays quite well and has the extra appeal being associated with an unusual French unit.
