Original era manufacture. An elegant, fine quality dark blue doeskin wool tunic with an 8 button front. Maroon velvet trimmed collar and cuffs, with silver wire embroidery on the collar front. Black silk quilted lining with a tailor's label in the collar. Overall the coat is very clean, no moth issues and is a high quality garment. It formed part of the large costume house collection we purchased last summer and has finally had it's turn on our site. There was a single band of gold brocade rank trim on each cuff, this was removed at some point in the past. No moth issues to speak of, wear to the top of the collar in the back.
