French? WWI Inert Grenade

Original era manufacture. A blackened iron grenade which I believe to be of French manufacture. Completely empty of all explosives, likely a field recovered example. Stands 77 mm in height, with an internal thread in the neck, with the letters P.Z. stamped into the shoulder.
