Original era manufacture. Nice period medal with three stars mounted to the ribbon, one bronze for being mentioned in dispatches at the regimental level. Sound, original ribbon shows wear.Many Allied soldiers received the Croix de Guerre for bravery during WWI, including US Marines of the 2nd Division.
