Original period manufacture. A very ornate and well made Trench Art letter opener measuring 9.25 inches in length. Scimitar shaped blade of sheet brass, with an s-shaped guard made of bullets, rifle bullet casing handle, which ends in a four talon claw containing what I believe to be a shrapnel ball. Normal age and wear.
