Original era manufacture. At least that is my guess as to what this is. Blue wool top with red piping, and a silk tricolor cockade at the front with a brass star and lightening bolt button.Plain black cotton lining with makers marks and a date that I cannot make out. Bound visor with a thin plastic chinstrap. Size about a 6 3/4, normal age and wear.
