Original era manufacture. Rigid bodied hat covered with a olive brown wool covering, gold wire decoration with three bands on the crown for the rank of Captain. Bound black leather visor, with a thin gold brocade chinstrap. Black silk lining without decoration, with a black leather sweatband, which is loose in the front. No moth issues. Size about a 6.
