Original era manufacture. Near 100% of the green paint finish remains on the shell, with a few very minor dents to the helmet. Unbroken brown leather chinstrap which is solidly attached to the strap loops.The brown leather liner is very sound, with a metal liner band. Stamped 1939 Marseille. The liner is loose on one side, and the chinstrap is missing the securing button. A nice honest WWII French helmet.
