Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 17 inches in length, no corrosion issues, just scattered spots of surface staining. Pleasing patina finish to the brass guard and grip, unit marked on the guard O.A.7.7, East Asia Artillery Regiment, 7th Battery, 7th Weapon. Sound black leather bodied scabbard with brass fittings, with an original 1890 dated frog which was on the weapon at the time of our purchase. From our own collection.
