Original period manufacture. A sound pair of 1871 pattern ammunition pouches produced for use with the single shot, 1871 and 1871/84 bolt action rifles. Each is unit marked on the inside of the pouch, 3GRzF, with one marked to the 1st battalion, the other to the 2nd. The pouches are quite sound for their age showing typical age and use, the bullet dividers are present and not crushed or broken.
