Original era manufacture. Clean 10 inch polished steel blade with Simson markings on the ricasso. Tall steel guard/muzzle ring with a 15 mm opening. Serial number on the side of the guard Q5583. Normal age and wear, no scabbard. Possibly for the 1895 Chilean Mauser
