Original era manufacture. Very colorful, damage free example of the a classic regimental beer stein, representing the soldiers mandatory 2 years of service in the imperial German army.This particular stein is named to Gefreiter Reservist Heimayer, who served from 1900-02, in the 5th Battery, 5th Baden Field Artillery Regiment Nr. 76.Beautiful color transfer with handpainted decorations, with the lithopane scene in the bottom of a cottage kitchen. No damage to the body, no cracks or chips in the surfaces.Complete pewter top consisting of a cannon and two tiny soldiers; Baden Griffin thumb latch. "Kannondonner ist unser Grus", the thunder of cannon is our greeting.
