Original era manufacture. German Imperial era short sword and leather sheath. Maker marked on the spine, G. H. Osang, Dresden-A, and serial numbered on the guard 954. The polished steel blade measures 17.75 inches in length, clean, showing light sharpening to the edge, no corrosion issues. Mellow brass patina guard, fishskin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. Black leather bodied scabbard with brass fittings.
