Original period manufacture. Butcher style blade in very bright and clean finish with clear makers markings and issue stamps visible. Nice wooden grips showing normal age, evidence of some heavy (now cleaned) corrosion on the surface of the pommel and flashguard. Blue steel scabbard with light surface denting but missing its frog stud.
