Original era publication. Sort of an early instruction manual for the soldier of 1870-71. Hardbound, Vol.II beginning on page 386, frontispiece has a map of the city of Paris. Several color plates including one displaying French uniforms & soldiers during the siege of Paris. The book is sound, but shows it's age. German text of course..
