Original period manufacture. A well filled out identity book to aman born in 1843, who served in the Kaiser Franz Garde Grenadier Regiment Nr.2.He served during the campaign of 1866 against Austria, and fought in the battle of Konniggratz. He was awarded the EK 2nd class for service in 1870-71The book is sound, and comes with a collector made slip cover for protection. Inside are several small cards written in German, but in a very legible hand, which detail his service.
