German Early 19th Century Saxon Infantry Officers Sword

Original period manufacture. 30 inch polished steel blade with etched panels on each side displaying a crown and letter F, perhaps indicating Friedrich I of Saxony, 1814-1839. The blade is clean with no real issues with scattered spotting and clouding and some light pitting near the tip. For some reason the blade shows some heat bluing on both sides of the ricasso, no idea why, no repair is visible. All brass grip and guard with a pleasing old brass patina.
