Original era manufacture. A nice three place Franco-Prussian War veteran medal bar, 1870-71 Campaign Medal, Hohenzollern Centennial Medal and Hessian Landwehr Good Conduct Bar.The reverse of the medal bar is covered in a red wool cloth, with scattered mothing as shown. Overall the bar displays normal age and wear.The box is a treat itself, no damage, just typical wear and use, the bar fits inside perfectly. It would not surprise me that this was the original storage box provided with the medal bar when purchased from Ludwig Frieke menswear in Bingen Germany. I should really keep this...can't be my own best customer.
