Original era manufacture. Vintage two place bar displaying the Baden 1870-71 Service Medal and the German 1870-71 Campaign Medal. Sound ribbon bar and medals showing normal 130 plus year age, they are attached to the mounting bar by thread which has begun to unravel. German 1870-71 Campaign medal is marked on the rim as being made from captured cannon, in German of course. The Baden Division served with the III Army under the command of Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm during the 1870-71 war and participated in the Siege of Strasbourg.
