Original period photography. Cabinet size image which uses as it's subject matter a period CDV displaying a Landwehr soldier with Shako and Needle Gun. This was one way to do an enlargement back in the day. Solingen Wald photographer logo, lower left corner clipped as shown. He wears on his chest the 1866 and 1870-71 Campaign Medals.
