Original era manufacture. Full size medal marked on the rim in German (made from captured cannon), the medal celebrates the German victory over Napoleon III which led to the unification of Germany in 1871. Mounted to the original ribbon are three battle bars, Worth, An de Lisaine & Strassburg.
