Original era manufacture. Presentation document of the 1870-1871 Campaign medal made from bronze of captured French cannon (erbeuteter cannon). The document was presented to Jager Marz who served with the 2nd Jager Battalion during the war and shots the date of presentation to be December 1871. The document has been folded at one point and is a bit ragged at the top but will live happily once framed.
