Original period photography. Sepia, full length image of the band master of IR 39. He wears a four-place medal bar on his uniform which includes the medal for the 1864 campaign, and likely 1866 and 1870 as well. Inked notes on the reverse with a date of 1871. Dusseldorf photographer.
