Original era manufacture. This has hung on the wall in my officer for the past 10 years, it is a composite group, in that I added the photo and medal for display, all are original artifacts of the era.Original framed document for the 1870-71 Campaign Medal, presented to a soldier who served in IR 95, 6th Thuringisches Infanterie Regiment. The medal is a private purchase example of the era without the inscription on the edge, it is suspended from a early period, large size ribbonmount.The CDV image isjust slipped into the corner of the frame, and portrays an enlisted soldier wearing a near identical example of the medal on his chest.
