Original era publication. I had thought while gathering itemsfortoday's update, that these two booklets belonged to the same soldier. Nope, different of course, but since Terri has already done the work in photography, we'll sell them as a lot.First up, the larger of the two, a Bavarian soldier, born in 1848, who served with the 6th Bavarian Infantry Regiment. There are notations for service in France, 1870-71.The second, a Militarpass, to a Mecklenburg soldier, born in 1846, who served with IR 90.Again, there are notations for service in France 1870-71, with details regarding Metz, Toul, Paris and other locations.Both books are sound for their age and present good opportunities for further research.
