Original era manufacture. I have to admit this was fairly tempting to hang on our own wall. 1870-1871 French Campaign medal and a nice 1884 dated image of Crown Prince Friederich Wilhelm in an original era frame with blue velvet backing. During the Franco-Prussian War Friederich Wilhelm commanded the III Army successfully throughout the war. He died in 1888 after a three month reign as Kaiser.
