An issue medal, with the phrase "from captured cannon" around its edge.Original ribbon with three period battle bars, with the order starting from the top to the bottom; Gravelotte St.Privat, Colombey-Noilly and Spicheren. Medal is loose from the ribbon. Normal age and wear.
