Original period manufacture. Sepia CDV image, identified as 2nd Lt. Ernst von Kalckstein, who was killed in action on the 18th of August 1870, during the attack of the Prussian Garde Corps at St.Privat. He served with the 5th Company, 2nd Battalion of Kaiser Franz Garde Grenadier Regiment Nr.2.
