Original period photography. A clear, full length view of a Prussian Landwehr soldier, with his 1860 pattern shako sitting on the table next to him. Of note is the Strawberry Point Iowa photographers logo on the bottom of the card. Likely the former soldier or his family took the original image down to the photographers shop to have a copy made. I have had several of these in my collection in the past...they are always fun to find, no backmark on the reverse.
